Year 2 CYM STUDENT

      • Develop the key skills, underpinning theory, foundational theology, up-to-date knowledge, and core qualities and values ESSENTIAL to your calling.
      • Embark on a two year learning journey that will focus on your personal, spiritual and professional development, enabling you to develop your vision, practice and wisdom.
      • Come open to learning with and from others, and learning from experience, with open eyes, ears, heart, mind and hands – above all open to change and growth in all areas of your life and ministry.

The CYM endorsed Cert HE in Theology, Ministry and Mission provides a flexible first stage qualification for people already working in children, youth and mission work.

Designed for part-time workers with limited experience or no formal qualifications, this qualification provides the understanding and skills needed to lead and develop quality provision. It enables you to learn from your on-going work with children and young people, and apply what you are learning directly back to your work.

Study days include lectures and seminars with expert tutors; specialist small groups to apply teaching and learning to youth, children’s and schools work; and one-to-one mentoring with experienced practitioners.
